Modular phantom head. The jaw opens, closes and translates forward like a real one; you can set the occlusion and return to the same setting. Jaw cassettes change in seconds, and radiographs and CBCT can be taken.
It lets you run more than one course on a single head: restorative, prosthodontic and endodontic. By changing the jaw cassette you move to different scenarios on the same device.
You seat the cassette in place — it is keyed with a geometry that prevents incorrect fitting, so it cannot go in backwards. You set the occlusion on the scales; because they are detented, you can reproduce exactly the same setting in the next session. When you want to change the jaw movement, you change the cartridge.
It can be used together with radiography and CBCT, so imaging becomes part of the lesson too.
You replace the worn part, not the head. Cassettes and cartridges are user-replaceable.
